Bing Maps: This is how the route planner works
You can now use a route planner in Bing Maps. In this practical tip, we will tell you exactly how the tool works.
Route planner at Bing Maps - how it works
- First open the Bing website in your browser.
- To the right of the search field you will find the entry "Route Planner". Click on it.
- On the left-hand side, enter the start location in the upper field and the destination in the lower field.
- With a click on "Start now", Bing will find suitable routes for you.
- You will usually find three different routes on the left. Click on one to take a closer look at it.
- If you want to avoid motorways and / or toll roads, click on "Options" in the top right corner and tick the relevant box.
- Note: There is no app for your smartphone. You can also use the navigation software in your mobile browser.
