Blau.de-Internet does not work: all tricks for troubleshooting
If you have a SIM card from Blau.de and your Internet is no longer working, it can either be your device or the provider. Here we show you how to re-establish the internet connection and how to solve the problem.
Internet with SIM card from Blau.de no longer works
On the provider side, malfunctions can occur at Blau.de, for example, when maintenance work is pending.
- On the website "allestault.de" you can check whether there are currently problems with the Blau.de network.
- If there are any messages or user comments, it is likely that you are also affected by the problem.
- If you would like further information, you can also contact the Blau.de hotline.
Android smartphone does not establish an internet connection to Blau.de
Incorrect configurations on your smartphone or tablet can also result in you no longer being able to connect to the Internet.
- On Android, open the "Menu" and then go to "Settings".
- From here you can go to the "Mobile networks" menu item via the "Additional settings" option.
- Now click on "Network operator" to call up all available providers in your area. This process can sometimes take some time.
- Since Blau.de relies on the network of E-Plus, you must also adopt the settings of this mobile network provider. A click on the provider is sufficient.
- You can view the new configurations using the "Access points" option in the "Mobile networks" menu.
iPhone / iPad does not connect to Blau.de: adjust APN settings
With iOS, you can also change the APN settings to connect to the Internet.
- To do this, go to "Settings" and select the "Mobile network" option.
- There you will find the item "Mobile data network".
- Enter the address "internet.eplus.de" under "APN". Leave the fields "Username" and "Password" blank.
- In the MMS settings, enter "mms.eplus.de" under APN. Here you can also leave "Username" and "Password" free.
- You must fill the "MMSC" field with the address "// mms / eplus". For "MMS proxy" enter the number "212.023.097.153:5080" and under "Max. Message size" the value "307200".
- Now you can restart your iOS device for the settings to take effect.
