With the following tips you can ensure in most cases that the Game DiRT Rally starts and works again without problems.
- In order for the game to be displayed properly, your graphics card driver must be up to date. This can be updated via Windows Update or on the manufacturer's website.
- At the same time, Microsoft DirectX must be up to date.
- Before starting DiRT Rally, you should make sure that your PC meets the system requirements for the game.
- DiRT Rally may also be blocked by your firewall or the antivirus. Therefore, switch off both services as a test.
- If this is the case, we will explain to you in separate articles how to add an exception to your firewall and allow the program to run on your antivirus scanner.
- Steam allows you to check the game files for errors. To do this, right-click on the DiRT Rally entry and select "Properties". In the tab "Local files" you can have the "Check game files for errors".
- If this does not help, you can also "delete game files" in the same tab. After that you have to download and install the game again.
- In some cases it can help if you start the game as administrator. To do this, right-click on the DiRT Rally shortcut and select "Run as administrator".
