Control Dolphin browser with gestures - how it works
A funny and quite useful gesture feature is built into the Dolphin browser. This enables you to control the browser more quickly. In this practical tip, we will explain how to open a new tab with a gesture, for example.
Use gestures in the Dolphin browser
To trigger gestures in Dolphin, click on the little dolphin in the middle of the taskbar in the iOS version of the browser. In the Android Dolphin, tap on the "finger" icon in the task bar.
- For example, if you want to scroll to the bottom of a website, tap the dolphin and draw an arrow pointing down.
- An arrow pointing up does exactly the opposite.
- You can load Amazon, Google and Twitter directly by drawing an a, G or T.
- Open a new tab by writing an "N".
What are the default gestures?
After tapping the dolphin icon, select the gear icon in the top right. Here you can see which gestures are preset in your Dolphin version. Note: You can also make your own gestures.
