If you want to see your Dropbox content on the go, the cloud storage also works offline. We show you how to access the content.

- If you start the Dropbox app on your smartphone, you can only download and view your files with an internet connection.
- Only the last file that you opened in the Dropbox app can still be viewed later. However, you must not end the app for this.
- To see your documents offline, you have to transfer the data from the Dropbox to another app. We will show you how this works in the next paragraph.
Save Dropbox files for offline use
- Photos + Videos: You can save multimedia content directly on your smartphone under Android and iOS. If necessary, they are simply deleted later.
- PDF files: PDFs can be transferred to the Adobe Reader app for iOS and Android, for example. Here the PDF file is saved offline until you delete it.
- All files: The iOS app iFiles and the Android app ASTRO File Manager are available for all other files. Here you can log in to your Dropbox and save any files locally.
