eBay: create offer - how it works
Make an offer on eBay so you can monetize your old and new properties quickly. We'll show you how to do it best and give you step-by-step instructions.
Create offer on eBay - step by step
First, log on to eBay so you can sell products.
- Visit the home page and click the "Sell" button.
- eBay will now redirect you from point to point. First enter your product name or alternatively write down the ISBN or reference number of your item. You can also easily find your item in the category search.
- Rate and describe your product now. Indicate the condition it is in, add photos and add some features. You can now upload up to eleven photos for free - in the past, only the main photo was free.
- Now define the framework conditions that your eBay auction should include. Enter the starting price, the duration of the offer and the shipping price. Also check the payment terms - for security reasons you should prefer payment via PayPal or cash on collection.
- All you need to do now is click on the "Set for the fees" button and you will soon be looking forward to a sold item.
- Make sure that eBay charges fees for auctions.
Tips for eBay offers: How to create an attractive offer
If you want to stand out with your auction, follow these tips:
- Always upload a product photo. Nobody wants to buy an item without first seeing a picture.
- Start your auction at a convenient time: Working hours late at night, for example Thursday 11:39 p.m., is an unfavorable time. Many bidders will already be sleeping or sitting comfortably on the couch. For example, a Sunday morning at around 12:00 p.m. is ideal. At such a time, most bidders have time and can outbid each other when the auction ends.
- Be at the computer at the end of the auction. A quick contact facilitates the later dispatch processing.
- Point out any defects. If you sell an item with the smallest signs of use, you should mention this in the auction text. The more honest you are, the more serious your auction will look.
- Last but not least: Pay attention to a high-quality auction text. Typing and spelling mistakes make your offer appear dubious. Take the time to reread the text and always ask yourself whether it would appeal to you as a buyer.
