The Elder Scrolls V Skyrim: How to become a werewolf
In Bethesda's roleplaying game "The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim" it is again possible to become a werewolf. Most recently, this worked in the third part of the TES series, "Morrowind" - both games open up interesting new gameplay. This game tip shows you how you can transform yourself into the feared beast in "Skyrim".
Become a werewolf through companion quests
The companions are an Order of Warriors from White Run. In their questline, you can get infected with lycanthrophy, werewolf disease.
- Travel to Weißlauf and go to the "Jorrvaskr" mead hall to join the companions.
- Already in the second companion quest "The Entrance Exam" you will learn that your guild brother Farkas can turn into a werewolf. It reveals to you that other companions are infected with lycanthrophy.
- The subsequent assignment "The Silver Hand" begins with a ceremony in the deep forge - there Aela infects the hunter with werewolf disease.
- From that moment on, you can transform yourself into a werewolf once a day for about two and a half minutes. If you consume human enemies, you will remain in the beast form for 30 seconds longer per eaten NPC.
Healing Lycanthrophy in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
You decide when and where you turn into a werewolf. If you want to cure yourself from lycanthrophy, you have two options:
- In the last quest of the Fellowship Order, "In Honor of the Dead", you have a chance to end your werewolf existence. It is important to collect at least two gorge pond witch heads in the previous order "The Honor of the Blood".
- After curing the lycanthrophy, you can get infected with the disease again. To do this, you need to speak to Aela the Slayer. Important: After completing the Companions questline, it is only possible to use Aela's offer once.
- In the official "Skyrim" add-on "The Elder Scrolls V: Dawnguard" Lord Harkon offers you to become a vampire prince in the quest "Awakening". If you agree and are still infected with lycanthrophy, it will automatically go away.
In addition to mystical legends, the RPG "Skyrim" also includes real life conveniences: for example, your character can marry an NPC.
