Export endnote to Word - so it'll work
Endnote is one of the most popular literature tools for seminar papers. We'll show you how to export your references to Word.
Endnote: create bibliography and export to Word
- Open Endnote and mark all references that you want to export.
- Select the "File" tab in the menu bar at the top.
- Then click on the "Export ..." button so that a new window opens.
- Enter a name here and select the storage location for your bibliography.
- Select "Rich Text Format (.rtf)" as the file format - this file can be read by Microsoft Word.
- When you click "OK", you can open the file in Word and edit it further. Best of all: Endnote already formats the file according to the selected citation style.

An alternative to Endnote is the "Citavi" software, with which you can also research and create bibliographies.
