Error: Unable to access jar file - you have to do that
If Java reports an "Unable to access jar file" error, the requested file will not be opened and the process will not be completed. Among other things, the problem occurs more often with Minecraft servers. We'll show you how to fix it.
Unable to access jar file: Solve Java errors
- First, look for a simple spelling mistake in the name of the file you want to open. Usually a letter or a character is forgotten.
- The extension ".jar" is also important for the execution of the file. You should never forget this in your command. Also check that the file was not accidentally named "File.jar.jar".
- The folder path is also often given incorrectly. If you have already checked the correctness of the path, it can also help to move the file to another folder.
