Flash Player jerky: These tips help
While there is no one-size-fits-all solution to fix Flash Player issues, the following tips can help you troubleshoot.
- Search for "Adobe Flash Player" in "Control Panel" under "Programs" and remove it from the system. Then download and install the latest version.
- Via "Start", "Settings" and "Control Panel" you can open the Settings Manager by clicking on "Flash Player". Activate hardware acceleration here so that the graphics card of the computer takes the work of the processor and the system load is reduced.
- Start the task manager with the key combination Ctrl + Alt + Del and search for processes with high system load. Deactivate unnecessary processes.
- Especially with videos of higher quality, you should give the player enough time to buffer to avoid stutters and loading pauses when viewing the flash files. Wait at least 30 seconds before pressing the play button.
- You should also check which browser extensions are installed. Above all, disable add-ons that affect network activity.
