Transfer money with Siri - Here's how
If you want to transfer money with Siri, this is generally possible, but is still a bit cumbersome at the moment. We show you which banks it already works for.
Transfer money with Siri: Not that easy
- There are currently only two services in Germany that support a transfer via Siri. These include the Postbank app and the N26 banking app.
- According to Apple, the transfer should be easy with iOS 10. "Hey Siri, transfer three euros to Max Mustermann with N26".
- Unfortunately, it's not quite that simple. Postbank then only has to fill out a transfer form; N26 is not a correct transfer at all.
Siri: Transfer money by voice command
- To transfer money with Siri, you must have activated the BestSign procedure at Postbank. This is the case if you can already make transfers on the go. After all, the transfer form is filled in with the Siri command, but your login PIN, a purpose and the password for confirmation must be entered manually.
- With N26 this works much better. If the recipient has an account with N26, they will receive the money directly. If the recipient is not a customer, he must be in your address book to receive an SMS. There he will find a link that he can use to transfer the money to his account.
- N26 has limited transfers by Siri to EUR 100 per day if the bank details are not known. A transfer to other N26 customers is limited to 1000 euros.
