Google Drive for iOS devices: Set up security code lock
To protect your iOS device from evil eyes, you should set up a security code lock in Google Drive. We show you how this works in this practical tip.
Set up iOS security code in Google Drive
- First, open Google Drive on your iPhone or iPad.
- Tap the button with the three dashes in the top left and then the gear next to your profile picture.
- Then a small window opens. Scroll down a bit to the "Security code lock" button.
- Move the slider here. Then you have to enter a four-digit code twice.
- To ensure that your security code is requested every time you open the app, you should still tap the "Always lock" button in the last step.
