Use Google Calendar on Windows Phone
In this practical tip, we will show you how to use Google Calendar on your Windows Phone 8.
Set up a Google account on Windows Phone and activate calendar
First, you need to add your Google account on Windows Phone:
- First open the settings.
- Select "Email Accounts & Others".
- Click "+ Add Account" and select "Google".
- After entering your email address and password, your Windows Phone syncs. This may take a few minutes.
- When the account is set up, click on the Google account.
- Here you can choose which content should be synchronized. Calendar is activated by default right after setup.
Set the calendar color for your Google calendar
You can assign a color to each calendar on the Windows Phone so that you can keep appointments from different calendars apart.
- To set this, open the "Calendar".
- Tap the three dots in the lower right corner and open the "Settings".
- Scroll to the Google Calendar and assign it any color.
