The headset is rustling - it could be because of that
If the headset is noisy, this is a real annoyance for you and for other people. Find out in this practical tip how you can solve the problem.
Headset hisses - you can do that
Incorrect settings or defective cables can cause noise in the headset.
- Check that the headset cables are intact and not damaged or broken.
- You should also check whether the plugs are properly seated or whether there is a defect here. A loose contact on the plug or on the connection socket can also be the fault.
- If available, connect the headset to another port on your PC to rule out a defect.
- Alternatively, you can connect the headset to another PC or laptop.
- If the noise also occurs on another connection, there may be a problem with your sound card.
- Many music effects and other optimizations can be set in the settings of your sound card. Deactivate all settings here to rule out a problem with the software.
- If that doesn't help either, there is probably a more serious problem with the headset. Many devices are guaranteed for two years. In the event of a defect, you should simply use it and replace the headset.
