iMessage is not arriving - what to do?
This guide shows you what you can do if a message about iMessage does not arrive.
Bug fix: Message in iMessage does not arrive
Note: This practical tip is based on Apple iOS 7.1.2.
- First check whether you are connected to the Internet. To do this, go to a website via the browser, for example, or try out other apps that also need an Internet connection.
- There may also be incorrect settings, so iMessage reports an error. To do this, go to Settings and then tap on "Messages" -> "Send as SMS". Make sure that this setting is disabled.
- Activate iMessage again and perform the registration again if necessary. To do this, navigate to the settings and tap on "Messages". Slide the slider here to the left (see picture) to deactivate iMessage and to the right to activate it again.
- Try both a WiFi and a cellular connection to send your iMessage messages. On the website allestoerungen.de you can also check whether other users also have problems using iMessage.
- If the problem is with Apple, you can only wait and try again later. If the error persists for a long time, contact Apple Support.
