iMovie: add jump cuts to beat markers - how it works
In this practical tip, we will show you how to add jump cuts to beat markers in iMovie.
How it works: Add jump cuts with iMovie
The video editing software iMovie has numerous features. With this you can add so-called jump cuts:
- Select a video and drag it into the editing area at the top.
- Add a beat to this video that you can select at the bottom right. This must then also be dragged into the processing area.
- After the beat has been applied to the video, you need to click the icon in the editing area at the top left. Then select "Clip Trimmer".
- Drag the red line to where you want the effect to appear later and press the [M] key. Click "Done" when you're done.
- Then always select a clip at the top and click on "Clip"> "Jump Cuts on Beat Markers" and select the desired number of pictures here as required.
