Add iOS widgets to the Notification Center
As in iOS 7, Apple provides some widgets such as weather, calendar and stocks. In iOS 8, however, you can also use widgets from apps like Dropbox and Evernote. To do this, the respective programs must of course be installed.
- Then open the Notification Center by placing your finger on the top of the screen and dragging it down.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the Notification Center and tap the "Edit" button.
- At the top you will find all the widgets that have already been used. You can arrange them using the buttons on the right side. Use the red button on the left to deactivate the respective widget.
- Below you will find all widgets that are not currently being used. You can activate the extension using the green button on the left.
- Finally, save your changes in the top right with the "Done" button.
