iPhone: Airplay does not work - what to do?
Airplay often no longer works, especially after an update of the iPhone. We'll show you how to solve the problem.
iPhone: You can do this if AirPlay is not working
- Restart: If it is only a temporary problem, switch both devices off completely and then on again. Small errors in the buffer are thus eliminated.
- Update: Problems with AirPlay under iOS 9 are not exactly unknown to Apple. If you still have problems, you should update all of your Apple devices.
- Control Center: AirPlay controls have changed a bit since iOS 8. In most apps, transmission via AirPlay is no longer offered directly. Drag your finger up from the bottom of the screen to open the control center. AirPlay can now be controlled here.

iOS 8: Solve AirPlay problems
- WLAN: As of iOS 8, the devices no longer have to be in the same network, but you should still activate the WLAN on both devices.
- Devices: Only two devices can connect via AirPlay at the same time. The second device may still be connected to another device without being noticed.
- Settings: In some cases, deleting the network settings fixed the problem. You then only have to log in to your WiFi network again.
