If the flashlight stops working on your iPhone, good advice is expensive. Here's what you can do about it:
- In some cases it can help if you briefly restart your iPhone and then try to activate the flashlight.
- Then check if a software update is available for your iPhone. If so, install it to solve the problem.
- Flashlight apps from other manufacturers can damage the flash or the flashlight. We therefore advise against using it.
- If you haven't been successful so far, you can still try to reset your iPhone. However, all data will be lost, which is why you should do a backup beforehand.
- If you still have a warranty on the device, you can claim it from Apple and send the device in.
- If the above tips do not help, there may be a defect in the flash LED. You can have it repaired in the Apple Store.
