iPhone X loads slowly - you can do that
If your iPhone X is loading slowly, there can be several reasons. In the following practical tip, we will show you what causes the slow charging speed and what you can do about it.
Causes and solutions for increasing the loading speed
The reasons for slow loading can be hardware or software.
- All iPhones reduce their charging speed from 80% to save the battery. However, the degree of throttling depends on the temperature of the device and can therefore vary.
- To speed up the charging speed, you can remove the case of your iPhone X and place the device in a cooler environment.
- If your iPhone has crashed due to low battery and turned itself off, you can change a setting that has been released afterwards.
- After the crash, your iPhone has automatically switched to a safe and throttled mode when charging. You can change this again in the settings under "Battery status" and the item "Maximum performance".
- You can also increase the charging speed of your iPhone X with a quick charger. The included charger is very slow.
- Any iPad charger is also suitable for this, as they have significantly higher performance. But fast wireless chargers are usually faster too.
- You can also put your iPhone X in airplane mode to increase the charging speed and thus win a few minutes.
- Also check whether there is any loose contact. To do this, wiggle the cable and look for changes in the charge indicator.
- A defective battery would also cause slower or no charging. Connect your iPhone to the power for several hours and then check the percentage of battery charge gained.
- Finally, you can examine the charging socket of your iPhone X for dirt particles and, if available, carefully remove them with a toothpick.
