No driver found - what to do?
In this practical tip, we show you what you can do if no driver is found.
No drivers found - there are these options
Drivers are an important part of your computer. But what to do if your computer doesn't recognize you?
- Open Windows Update. The updater also searches for driver software and updates for all installed programs.
- A look at the manufacturer's website often helps. If it no longer offers drivers, you should contact it.
- Check whether you have a CD or DVD with the required drivers. For older devices in particular, the drivers were also supplied on a data carrier.
- If you have a second PC on hand, you should check on it whether the device is working there or whether drivers are found.
- If this is not the case, you can assume that the device is defective.
