- Open the "Network and Sharing Center" from the Control Panel.
- Click "Advanced Sharing Settings" on the left.
- Make sure that "File and Print Sharing" is activated here.
- Then go back to "Control Panel" and then "System".
- Under Computer Name, Domain, and Workgroup Settings, click Change Settings.
- Switch to the "Computer Name" tab and click on "Change" below. Make sure you are in the right work group.
