Show LAN details in Windows Explorer - how it works
You can view details about your LAN network in Windows Explorer. You don't have to laboriously access the router. We'll show you how it's done.
Show LAN details in Windows Explorer
- Click on the start button at the bottom left and open the "Control Panel".
- Select the "Network and Internet" category here and then open the "Network and Sharing Center".
- Here you can see the current connection. Click on the blue link "Local Area Connection" next to the item "Connections".
- A new window opens in which you click on the "Details" button (see picture).
- Here you will find all the important details about your LAN network.
- Among other things, you can see the IPv4, IPv6 and MAC as well as the address for web access to the router.
- In the previously opened window you can also see the transmission rate as well as the sent and received bytes (see left in the picture).
