LibreOffice: Change the default font - how it works
The Times New Roman font is set by default in LibreOffice. However, you can change that. We show you how it works in the following practical tip.
Change the default font in LibreOffice
- First select a different font and, if necessary, a different font size in the empty LibreOffice document.
- Then click File> Document Templates> Save As Template.
- Select the "My Templates" folder and click "Save" at the top.
- Enter a template name and click on the document.
- Click "Set as Default" above.
- If you now close the document and open a new one, your template will appear with the changed standard font.
