OpenOffice: Create your own shortcuts
In OpenOffice you can create your own shortcuts and thus make working with texts and tables easier. This practical tip shows you how to set up the key combinations.
Set up your own keyboard shortcuts in OpenOffice
- Open the "Customize" menu in OpenOffice using the "Extra" tab.
- You then need to go to the Keyboard section to access the shortcuts. Here you can see all the shortcuts that currently exist.
- To define your own shortcut, first find the command in the lower half of the window, for example in the "Edit" area the "Spelling and grammar" function.
- Then select the desired key combination in the upper window.
- By clicking on "Change" you create the shortcut and can close the window with "OK".
