PDF: change font size - does that work?
Changing the font size of a PDF file is still possible afterwards. However, you have to use special software for this.
Change font size of a PDF: With this software it works
To edit PDF files and change the font size, you have to use Adobe Acrobat. Incidentally, it is much cheaper with Soda PDF, which also contains this feature. How to proceed with Acrobat:
- Open the document and then select the "Tools" menu in the top right
- Here you will find the first point "Edit text and images".
- All changeable text fields will then be displayed. Just click on the text you want to enlarge / reduce.
- This only works with PDF files in which Adobe Acrobat recognizes the text as such. With PDFs that were created from Word documents, however, it works without any problems.
- If you have marked a text passage, you can change the text size in the right column under "Format".
- If you do not want to change the text document, but only want the text to appear generally larger on the screen, use the zoom function.
- To do this, hold down the [CTRL] key and use either the mouse wheel or the [+] or [-] key to enlarge or reduce the image.
