Calling number with Eteleon - so it'll work
You can take your old mobile number with you at almost all mobile phone providers. In this article, we will tell you how Eteleon's number portability works and what you should definitely consider.
Number portability to Eteleon before the end of the contract
If you want to port your phone number from an existing contract to Eteleon, you must note the following:
- Cancel your contract in writing with your old provider.
- In your cancellation, mention that you want to take the number with you to a new provider before the end of the contract.
- You can then conclude a new contract with Eteleon. You must mention the number portability directly in the ordering process. It is currently not possible to take it with you later.
How to port your phone number to Eteleon after the contract ends
To take your phone number with you to Eteleon after the end of the contract, you have to do a little differently:
- Cancel your old contract here too. With a prepaid tariff you also need a porting declaration, which you can get from your old provider.
- Your number can be taken within 85 days of the end of the contract. But at the earliest on the day the contract ends.
- Now you can conclude your new contract with Eteleon and ask for the number to be taken along. Here, too, you can no longer take over your number.
