Runtastic: export data - how it works
If you want to import your data from Runtastic into other programs, you must first export your history at Runtastic. Runtastic does not offer this function as such. In this practical tip, we will show you which trick you can use to export your Runtastic data as a TCX file.
How to export your data from Runtastic
- First go to the Runtastic website and log in with your access data as usual.
- Then click on the "Activities" entry on the left.
- Then select the year and the corresponding month from which you want to export your data.
- As soon as you are in the corresponding monthly view, open the console of your browser. With Chrome, you can access the console by pressing [Ctrl] + [Shift] + J at the same time.
- Then copy and paste the following command into the console: var links = []; $ ('. type> a'). each (function () {links.push ($ (this) .attr ('href'))}) setInterval (function () {if (! links.length) {return; } var link = links.shift (); link + = '.tcx'; var newFrame = document.createElement ('iframe'); document.body.appendChild (newFrame); newFrame.style = 'width: 1px; height: 1px; '; newFrame.src = link;}, 500);
- Then confirm the command with the "Enter key".
- Now your activities appear as popup windows that can be saved as TCX files on your hard drive. If necessary, you must first give permission to display all download windows.
- Now select the location of the individual activity and export it with a click on "Save".
- The exported data is saved as a TCX file. You can import these from almost all fitness providers.
