To find out the UUID of your MacBook, you need to use the System Information utility.
- Enter "System Information" in the Spotlight search and open it.
- Select the "Hardware" tab in the bar on the left.
- In this register, a number grouped into five parts appears on the right under "Hardware UUID". This is your UUID, which you can also copy and paste into another program or into an email.
