How does Babbel work? Easily explained
With Babbel you learn languages online. In this practical tip, we will explain how this works and which principle the language courses take.
This is how language learning works with Babbel
The language courses at Babbel are divided into different levels, which do not necessarily build on one another. So you can get wherever you want.
- For example, if you want to learn English, you have the choice between beginner courses, intermediate courses, grammar or, for example, business English. The individual levels are partly further subdivided. For example, the beginner course also consists of six individually bookable courses.
- You can also work through the modules of a course in any order. A lesson lasts about 15 minutes.
- There are no requirements to complete the lessons regularly. So you can work on a lesson every day or do the weekly workload of seven lessons in one day. The only restriction: you have to finish a lesson once in one piece, otherwise you cannot complete it.
- New words keep popping up in the lessons, which are transferred to Babbel's own vocabulary trainer and queried there. You can also work through the Babbel vocabulary trainer freely.
- Babbel's courses are anything but boring. They are entertaining and offer lots of background stories, making learning fun. Exercises such as repeating and writing, filling in blanks or assigning pictures promise quick learning success.
- You don't just have a free hand when it comes to timing. You can also take the courses anywhere. So you not only have access to it on the Babbel website, but also via the free Babbel app for Android or iOS.
