Windows Explorer: Open My Computer instead of Libraries
If you click on Windows Explorer in your task bar, the libraries will open automatically. To display the work place instead, you only have to make a small change. We'll show you the trick.
Open work place instead of library
- Right-click the Windows Explorer folder on the taskbar.
- "Windows Explorer" is displayed as the penultimate point: right-click on it again and select "Properties" from the context menu.
- Now add the following under Destination (already marked blue) after .exe: "/ e, " (without quotation marks; note the space at the beginning) and confirm with "OK" or "Apply".
- Now the workplace (ie the path "Computer") will be displayed in the future instead of the libraries.
You can also create your own libraries under Windows 7. You can read how you can create order in this practical tip.
