Windows Phone 8: One inbox for all email accounts - Here's how
You can set up an inbox for all email accounts on your Windows Phone 8. Read here how it works.
Set up an inbox for multiple email accounts
A tile is created for each email account you set up on your Windows Phone. If you now manage multiple accounts on your smartphone, it quickly becomes confusing. But you can remedy the situation:
- Open the email account you want to link to another, such as Hotmail.
- Click on the three dots at the bottom right and open "Link inboxes".
- Here you can see the main account, which you can now link to another email inbox - this can be done with any number of email accounts.
- Now all emails from the linked accounts arrive in an inbox folder.

How to link your email accounts sensibly
If you have set up many email accounts on your Windows Phone 8, an inbox for all accounts is not advisable - it will quickly become confusing.
- You can use the "Link" function to combine business and private email accounts. This reduces the confusion of tiles and does not become confusing.
- If you have only set up private email accounts, it makes sense to divide them into prioritized accounts and spam accounts.
