Remove WinGuard: How to delete the software
If you have caught the "WinGuard" adware on your computer, you should remove the program immediately. We'll show you how to do it step by step.
Step 1: remove WinGuard from Windows
The WinGuard is designed to protect you from the dangers of the Internet and improve your browsing performance. It is adware, which is not dangerous, but the benefits are considered questionable.
- Uninstall WinGuard: Open the Control Panel and under "Programs" select the item "Uninstall a program". Select the entry "WinGuard" and click on "Uninstall" above.
- AdwCleaner: The free AdwCleaner does not require any installation. Start the tool and click on "Search" above. You can then delete the finds by clicking "Remove".
- Browser links: Not all data is always successfully deleted. A check of the browser links should therefore not be left out and only takes a few seconds.
- Malwarebytes Anti-Malware: A pest rarely comes alone. If you want to be on the safe side, you can also run a virus scan.
