Change WiFi password on Windows
If you have changed your WLAN password, you must also change it on your Windows PC. In this practical tip, we will show you how your computer connects to your router again.
View and change the WiFi password
- Open the "Control Panel" and enter "wireless" in the search field at the top right.
- Under the item "Network and Sharing Center" you will find the entry "Manage wireless networks". Select this entry.
- You will now receive a list of all saved WLAN connections. Find the network whose WiFi key you want to change.
- Right-click on the connection and select the "Properties" from the context menu.
- Go to the "Security" tab and check the "Show characters" box. Confirm the "User Account Control" message with "Yes".
- Now enter the new password and confirm it with "OK".
- Reconnect your computer to the WiFi.
