Apple Mail: Uninstall plugins
Error messages from unwanted Apple Mail plugins often appear - we will show you how to uninstall the plugins again.
How to uninstall Apple Mail plugins
Unfortunately, you won't find add-on management in Apple Mail, such as in the Safari browser. So you have to delete Mail plugins manually:
- To do this, open the Finder on your Mac.
- Select "Go" from the program bar and then "Go to folder". Alternatively, you can open the command with [Shift] + [CMD] + [G].
- Enter the path "~ / Library / Mail /" there. In this folder you will find the installed Apple Mail addons.
- Open the "Bundles" folder. There you will find the installed plugins.
- Select the desired plugin in the folder and move it to the trash. You can then close Finder and restart Apple Mail.
By the way, you can personalize your mail tool in just a few steps and change the tone of Apple Mail, for example.
