Remove Atomic Savings - Here's how
If the Atomic Savings appears in your browser, you should remove it as soon as possible. Strictly speaking, it is not a virus, but the program can inject unwanted advertisements into your system. We'll show you how to remove the "virus".
Step 1: remove Atomic Savings
The adware is usually installed unintentionally via share and freeware. It disguises itself as a browser add-on, opens unwanted pop-ups, displays advertisements and manipulates the search results.
- Uninstall a program: First you should simply uninstall the program [//praxistipps.chip.de/windows-programme-deinstallieren-so-gehts_3538|Program using the Control Panel]]. Look for the entry "Atomic Savings". If you do not find what you are looking for, sort the list by installation date and remove any unknown new entries.
- AdwCleaner: So that the remaining files and registry entries are also removed, you should let the AdwCleaner work again.
- Malwarebytes Anti-Malware: Since there may be other viruses on your system, we recommend that you also run a scan with this virus scanner.
Step 2: clean up browser
Since it is not exactly clear what settings the adware makes on the browser, you should reset it completely for security reasons. If you have more than one browser, follow the instructions for all installed browsers.
- Reset Google Chrome
- Reset Mozilla Firefox
- Reset Internet Explorer
