Copy from Google Books - Here's how
You can copy books from Google Books, at least by a small detour. Often, however, the entire book is not available to you, but only a section. Here's how to copy most of it from Google Books.
Copy from Google Books - Here's how
The easiest way, of course, is to take a screenshot using the [Print] button. However, the section is then very small and is available as an image file. There is no text recognition for images, so you cannot continue working with them. We therefore recommend the following method:
- Download and install the free Google Books Downloader. It allows you to download and then copy the largest volume of books.
- Then go to the book on Google Books that you want to copy some places from.
- Then copy the URL of the page and start the Google Books Downloader.
- Insert the URL here and then start downloading the book. However, be sure to specify "PDF" as the format.
- Now you can open the PDF file and copy text from it.
- Note: You need software with text recognition such as Adobe Acrobat Pro, Free OCR, Abbyy FinerReader or IRIS Readiris PRO.
On the next page we will show you great tools to easily edit PDF files online - without any software.
