Manage favorites in Opera
Saving favorites in Opera is relatively simple - so that you can manage the bookmarks correctly, we give you some helpful tips.
Manage bookmarks in Opera
Click on "Opera" in the top left and select "Bookmarks" from the context menu. You are now in the bookmarks view, where you can make various changes.
- Delete bookmark: If you want to delete a bookmark, move the mouse pointer over the respective bookmark and click on the small "X" in the top right corner of the thumbnail.
- Add a new bookmark: Simply use Opera to go to the page you want to add to your bookmarks. To the right of the browser field you will find a heart symbol that is grayed out. As soon as you click on it, it is colored red and the page is saved as a bookmark. Under the thumbnail you can click on "unsorted bookmarks" to select the folder in which the bookmark is to be saved.
- Create a new folder: In the bookmarks view, click on "New folder" on the left to add a new folder for your bookmarks. First enter the name and confirm by clicking on "Add".
- Deleting created folders: Click on "Opera" in the top left and move the mouse pointer over "Bookmarks" so that another menu strand opens. Here you navigate with the mouse pointer to "My Folders". With a right click on the respective folder you can remove the folder and bookmark with the function "Delete".
- Share bookmarks: You can now share bookmarks with friends. To do this, move the mouse pointer over a bookmark in the bookmark view and click on the small tick in the top left. Then click on the "Share" button at the top right in Opera and send the link to your friends via social media networks.
