Firefox: delete cookies automatically when exiting
If you want to improve your privacy in Firefox, you can have the cookies deleted automatically when you close the browser. We'll show you how it's done.
Automatically delete cookies when exiting Firefox
- Start Firefox and click on the orange button labeled "Firefox" in the upper left corner of the window.
- If you click on the "Settings" on the right side, a small window opens.
- Go to the "Privacy" tab above and under "History" select the option "Create according to user-defined settings".
- Under the category "Cookies" you can now choose to keep the option until "Firefox is closed".
- Then click on the "OK" button to save your settings.
