Fritzbox: Change password

To protect your Fritzbox and your network, you should both have a password that you change regularly. We'll show you how.
Change the password of the Fritzbox
- Open the fritz.box user interface and log in with your password.
- At the top of the menu bar you will find the item "Registered". If you click on it, the "Change password" option opens.
- Enter your new password and click "OK".
Change WLAN password in the Fritzbox
Please make sure that you make your password as secure as possible. It should contain numbers and letters as well as special characters.
- Open the fritz.box user interface and log in with your password.
- Click on "WLAN" in the menu on the left and select the sub-item "Security".
- At the bottom you can see the current "network key". You can delete it and enter a new one.
- With a click on the "Apply" button, the new WLAN password is set. Keep in mind that you will also need to change the password on all devices connected to the WiFi to be able to access the Internet again.
