Hearthstone: The Warrior Guide
In this warrior guide, we introduce you to a barbarian-class deck in Hearthstone. The warrior lives from an early end of the game because he often runs out of air at the end. The deck presented here is only an incentive and can be changed as desired.
Attack is the warrior's best defense
While other classes like the Paladin thrive on keeping the game going as long as possible, as a warrior you should avoid that. Your cards don't use a lot of mana. Therefore, you should decide the game for yourself in the first rounds, or at least have deducted a considerable part of the opponent's life points. Cards with a rush like the elite soldier of the Kor'kron will help you. Lepragnom is available for direct attacks on the opposing hero. Your servants support you with magic cards such as a command call, assault or inner anger. With these cards you should end the game as soon as possible:
- Lepragnom (2/1): "Inflicts 2 damage to the enemy hero."
- Elite Kor'kron Soldier (4/3): "Charge"
- Execute: "Destroy an injured enemy servant."
- Charge: "Charge a friendly servant."
- Anger inside: "Inflicts 1 damage to a servant. The servant receives +2 attack."
- Command Call: "Your servant's life cannot fall under 1 traps this turn. Draw a card."
Hold up the shields
If you are unable to win the game in the first rounds, you still have a chance of winning. To do this, you need to dampen your aggressive style of play a bit and expand your defense. Cards with ridicule such as the sign bearer or the "Schildmeista von Sen'jin" are particularly helpful. These cards keep attacks from your other servants. Your class ability gives you 2 armor, and you can accumulate an infinite amount of armor. This helps especially in hot spots. With 8 manastars, "Grommash Hellscream" is the most expensive but also the most powerful card in your deck. With 4 attack and 9 defense, this card can be the deciding factor in late game. You can also maintain your defense with the following cards:
- Sign holder (0/4): "ridicule"
- Schildmeista von Sen'jin (3/5): "ridicule"
- Raging Worgen (3/3): "Wind anger and +1 attack."
- Grommash Hellscream (4/9): "Charge, Tantrum: +6 Attack."
This warrior guide is only intended to give you an incentive for your future warrior deck. You can also play the warrior with a completely different strategy. Nevertheless, it is important to get your opponent ready as soon as possible. You can also upgrade your deck with more defense cards. This will keep you on the battlefield longer. The paladin endures even more. This practical tip shows you how to play this class.
