- The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus complete the range of new smartphones from Apple.
- Both smartphones get a back and front made of glass, which according to Apple is the "most robust glass" ever.
- The smartphones also have Retina HD displays and an expanded color space, True Tone (from the iPad) and 3D Touch.
- Inside the new iPhones, the A11 Bionic chip is used, which has six cores and a 64-bit design.
- The camera has also been redesigned. Both devices receive a 12 megapixel camera. The iPhone 8 Plus even uses a dual camera with a wide-angle and telephoto lens.
- The two devices also get better stereo speakers, with which around 25 percent more volume than the predecessors is possible.
- It is surprising that both devices can be charged wirelessly. This is where the common Qi industrial stand for wireless charging comes into play.
- For the iPhone 8 you have to pay around 799 euros for 64GB of memory and 909 euros for the iPhone 8 Plus. The devices will be released on September 22.
