LG Nexus 5: WiFi does not work - what to do?
If the WiFi on your LG Nexus 5 is no longer working properly, you can usually solve the problem quickly. We show you how it works.
Solving the problem: LG Nexus 5 - WLAN does not work
Carry out the following solutions in succession:
- Reconnect: Enter flight mode for a few seconds, briefly deactivate the WLAN connection, or simply restart the device.
- Router: Unplug the router for 30 seconds and then plug it in again.
- Delete network: Open the "Settings" on your Nexus 5 and select the item "WLAN" under the category "Wireless & networks". Find the affected WLAN network here and remove it from the list. Then reconnect.
- Change frequency: Open "Settings"> "WLAN" again. Tap the menu button below and select the "Advanced" option. The "Automatic" option is set under the "WLAN frequency band" category. Change this to 5 GHz or 2.4 GHz.
- Check frequency: Too many routers in your area may be transmitting on the same frequency. In this case, you should change the frequency of your router. You can check this with the free app Wifi Analyzer.
