Mac: Quit Google Drive - Here's how
If Google Drive stalls on your Mac or you experience other problems, it is usually enough to just end it. We show you how to do this.
How to quit Google Drive on Mac
You can stop the Google Drive cloud service on Mac in just a few steps. This helps, for example, if the program hangs or synchronization errors have occurred.
- Right-click on the trackpad with two fingers on the Google Drive icon in the system bar of your Mac.
- If there's a problem with Google Drive, you'll see an error message there. You can now end the program by clicking on "Exit Google Drive" at the bottom of the context menu.
- If Google Drive has hung up in such a way that you cannot end it as usual, then end it with the Mac Task Manager.
