MacOS Mavericks: Hide menu bar on second monitor
If you have a second monitor on your Mac, a separate menu bar has been displayed on it since Mavericks. However, you can hide or remove them. We show you how to do this.
Hide or hide the menu bar on the second monitor
To have only one menu bar again, as in Mountain Lion, you only have to change the settings of "Mission Control" in the system controls.
- Open the control panel and select the item "Mission Control"
- Select the "Monitors Use Different Spaces" button. Now you only have one menu bar because your Mac now sees your two screens as a large desk.
- Now log out of your user and log in again for the changes to take effect.
