Step 1: unlock cheats for Mafia 2

To activate the cheats, you must first add a parameter to the exe link.

1. Right-click the Mafia 2 desktop shortcut and choose Settings. If you do not have a desktop shortcut, we will explain in another practical tip how you can create a shortcut.
2. Then click on the "Shortcut" tab in the window.
3. Then add the lines "set_sw_cheat 1 + set_cheat2" (without quotation marks) at the end in the "Target" field.
4. Confirm with the "OK" button.
5. Now you can call the command line in the game and enter the appropriate cheats there. You can read how to do this in the next paragraph.

In game, press the [^] key on your keyboard. Now the cheat menu appears at the top of the picture. Here you can enter the following cheats:
