Fix Netflix error 0013 - Here's how
On Android devices, error 0013 can occur in the Netflix app. We'll show you ways to get rid of the error message.
Netlfix: Fix error 0013
You have the best chance of success to fix error 0013 by deleting the data of the app and then reinstalling it:
- To do this, open the settings app on your Android smartphone.
- Open the app overview in it. Depending on the Android version and surface, this menu item is called slightly different. In most cases, the name is "Apps", "Applications" or "Application Manager" (see screenshot).
- Now tap on "Clear data" and "Clear cache". In newer versions of Android you may have to select "Storage" beforehand.
- Uninstall Netflix from your phone after deleting the data and then reinstall. The error should then no longer appear.
Error 0013: what else you can do
- Test the title that you cannot play in an additional WLAN. If you have enough data volume, you can also test the mobile network.
- If you can play the title on another network, it is likely that streaming services on the original network are deliberately blocked.
- If none of the above steps work, you should report the issue to Netflix. To do this, switch to "What you watched" in the app and tap "Report a problem" next to the title that is causing problems.
Before you test the streaming service in a cellular network, you should know how much data you can expect. That is why we appreciate the data consumption of Netflix for you.
