Remove Omniboxes - so uninstall it completely
If you find the adware from Omniboxes in your browser, you should remove it immediately. It is not a virus, but the adware changes various settings on your computer. We help you get rid of omniboxes.
Step 1: Remove Omniboxes from Windows
Omniboxes often gets unnoticed by installing free and shareware on your computer. Among other things, the homepage and the search engine will be changed.
- Uninstall Omniboxes: Open the Control Panel and select the "Uninstall a program" item under the "Programs" category. Search for "Omniboxes" and click the "Uninstall" button above.

Remove shortcuts from omniboxes
The last thing to do is to delete the remains in the shortcuts: Right-click on the shortcut on your browser (also in the task bar) to open the context menu and select the "Properties".
