You can easily insert footnotes or endnotes by following these steps:
- Click with the mouse behind the word behind which the footnote is to be placed.
- Select "Insert" from the menu and then click "Footnote / Endnote".
- A small window opens (see screenshot). You can now select an automatic count or manually enter a character. Confirm your entry with "OK".
- A superscript number now appears behind your word. At the bottom of the page you can now make your entries.
