Print overhead film - you should pay attention to that
So that your presentation succeeds and the printer does not suffer from it, we will show you how to print your films correctly.
A film for every printer - what you should consider
- Check in advance whether your device is a laser or inkjet printer. You can usually recognize this from the labels on the device. If you cannot find any information, you can look in the manual or on the manufacturer's website.
- When buying the film, make sure that it is suitable for laser or inkjet printers. Universal films are suitable for both types of printer, but are usually somewhat more expensive.
- Also note which side is printable. Films for inkjet printers are usually printed on the rough side. Both sides can often be printed on foils for the laser printer.
- Before loading the film in the paper tray, make sure that your printer is feeding the sheets. You may have to flip the film over so that you print on the correct side.
- After printing, leave the film in the printer eject for a few seconds to prevent the ink from smearing.
- Ultimately, ideally you store the film in a brochure cover and describe it with suitable film pens.
